Sinistar is from the classic arcade game of the same name, said to be the most scariest enemies from that era of gaming. Now, he returns in "Super Mario World Challenges" where he awaits Mario in the more souped up version of "Tubular"! Can you get past his wrath?

This variant of Sinistar, provided by the intergalactic company of the "J.B.S.", was abandoned on the Star Road years before Mario returns to Dinosaur Island. He'll simply await for those unfortunate to pass, and once he finishes his digitized speech, he'll go after his prey. If you touch him, you instantly die; just like how he back in the day. Unfortunately he's a lot slower and screams a lot less. Don't be fooled, you'll have to deal with him in the main-game final level.
I was hesitant to call this a "custom boss" considering you can't kill it. So it wasn't part of the 2021 boss lineup. Plus I kinda wanted to wait anyway so those who wanted to go in SMW Challenges blind would have a chance to encounter this "icon of sin" as drkrdnk put it. Today seemed like a good day to show it off. I'm very happy with how it turned out!
This sprite is not available for download. Sorry, it requires a bit of clean up for any official release.
