Here is the intro of the game Snatcher playing on a CRT TV at 240p resolution.

Snatcher is a visual novel game produced by Hideo Kojima and released in 1988 which was heavily inspired by movies like Blade Runner and Terminator. This is the Sega CD version released in 1994. It's a very cool game with awesome pixel art and music. The voice acting can be extremely silly at times and the story and characters are fun.

This is being emulated on a Raspberry Pi 4 running Retropie updated to 4.7.2 using the composite output from the headphone jack plugged into a Magnavox Smart Series 20MT1331/17 CRT TV manufactured in 2006. The quality looks very good other than a rainbow effect produced when there is a checkerboard pattern or text on screen, though this is a fault of the Raspberry Pi output itself.

It's pretty difficult to get a good recording of a CRT but I think this turned out ok. I recorded it using a Samsung Galaxy S20 at 4K 60 FPS to try and capture all of the TV's scanlines in good detail. Colors (and the TV itself) look much better in person
