Sneaky Doom | The Joy of Mapping 6: The Outer Station | No Failure Run
Been trying that whole enemy footstep experiment. Not entirely sure how to replicate how the player have different footsteps depending on where they're stepping on just yet, so for now all of the monsters use a generic footstep noise. A major improvement in my personal opinion, since now I can get a general idea of where enemies are based on where the sounds are coming from.
JOM6's E1M1 was a bit of a surprise entry to run SDoom with, though I got inspired after seeing one room that had 2 different entrances for it. Ended up being a pretty decent short choice, so long as you ignore the shenanigans that happened in the outdoor area with the blue key.
I swear, I don't think I've ever had a consistent behavior from the imps sitting on those crates in any of the runs I did with this setup. Sometimes they see me as I approach the blue key, sometimes they don't. Ended up just shooting them to relieve myself of the headache.
