Events are an essential part of the open world Guild Wars 2 experience, and difficult events can take quite a lot of effort and players to take down - and yet, somebody who idly sits by and jumps in during the last 12 seconds of the fight will get the exact same rewards as somebody who's been in the mix pumping away from the very start. Why is this a problem, and what could be done about it?
