Description:
After falling out of Lower City, Haru ends up in the Deeplands, a snowy region with dangerous wildlife and kill-on-sight soldiers. Haru will need the help of Ayaka, a mysterious hermit woman, to return to the empire and reunite with Kuroko.

To progress in this place, the party has to jump to the underground section, but it's one way, so make sure to have a decent stock of items. I didn't realize this at first, but the shops won't sell you additional HP Fizzle if you already have 5 or more, all to prevent you from simply spamming them in boss fights.
The save and healing points of the dungeon aren't close to the entrance, so you'll have to survive until you seek them out, and then you can fight more liberally.
I checked the hallway and ran into a miniboss.

In the cells, you find ex-Elder Daichi imprisoned by the goblins. You have to figure out which goblin has the key, and if you guess wrong, you lose credits. For me, the bottom right goblin in the rightmost room had it. After freeing the ungrateful elder, read his notes. When you try to leave, the elder will be accosted by the goblins.
24:57 Boss: Executioner (Hard)
There's apparently an achievement if you kill his goblins adds, stall until he summons more, and then keep killing them until all goblins are dead. I didn't bother with it though.
At some point, he'll kneel, which is your cue to defend and withstand his dark summon spell, Dark Order.

Daichi is killed by the Ice Elemental, who wants to use Ayaka as her vessel.

When she floats, she takes less damage and can spam a powerful AOE. When she falls to the ground, she can only use a single-target ice spell.

Grab the summon orb and examine Daichi's corpse.

We can't bear to tell the truth to Daichi's granddaughter. The older residents seem to be aware of what's going on and erect a grave in his honor.
If you did all of Kid's events up till now, she will regain her memories and join the party. Unfortunately, the game only allows two people in the party at a time, so you have to choose someone to leave behind. Additionally, reserve party members don't get EXP. Fortunately, there isn't much of the game left, so you can commit to one person if you want. Unlike me, you should probably stick with Kid, since she probably has a lot of optional dialogue with the imperial soldiers.

The orb blade soldiers resist lightning, so make sure Haru and Kid don't have those on their weapons. Note that fire and lightning can be placed on armor to resist the soldier's attacks. Also, summon orbs have a greater offense/defense effect on weapons and armor than the basic orbs.

This one actually looks avoidable if you know the correct route, which may be a good thing because it's stronger than the actual final boss of the episode. Weak to lightning.

You can find the hideout of the rebels in the junction E-F, but they won't let Haru join despite how the latter destroyed the empire's mecha. Fortunately, they will still provide a place to save, heal, and buy consumables.

When it's in the air, it only uses single-target spells. On the ground, it can AOE.
1:18:03 Mysterious Girl in the Ruins
You can save in the next screen, but when you reach the left exit, Haru tells his partner to stay behind while he scouts ahead. At the ruins, Haru finds the Mysterious Girl standing over the dead bodies of soldiers. Haru doesn't catch on that she did this and instead grabs her in order to "save" her. She also doesn't fight back for some reason.
