Software and Trends in the Visual Effects Industry | Full Sail University
Staying current with the software in the visual effects and motion graphics industry can set your company apart from others who still use traditional tools. Our experts use specialty programs and tools for different aspects of their work. Students were recently given the opportunity to get their hands on Autodesk’s Flame, a high-end 3D visual effects software. Programs such as After Effects from the Adobe Suite contribute to designing effects, Nuke is used for heavy compositing, and Mocha is used for tracking. Visual effects and motion graphics artists tend to work in different aspects of the industry and the tools they use are varied but they must be also able to depend on their own creativity.
