14Her signature move definitely helps a lot to extend the combo, so the potential is there. Haven't tried other characters yet, but I imagine there aren't a whole lot that can easily hit over 70 hits.
The game also didn't really give you a complete rundown of the moveset, so any advanced combo is up to you to experiment and find out.
