I decided that, instead of replaying the bits of Magna Carta up to the save point on stream, I'd do them offline and continue from there. However, I decided that too late to record today. So, instead, I loaded up another game, one that I'd been playing recently, to try to show it off.

SolForge, a card game designed, in part, by Richard Garfield, of Magic: The Gathering fame. It's a free-to-play CCG that combines deck building elements into the traditional CCG style. The game has lanes like many games, creatures, spells, and a system designed to help stretch the game out a bit while being very powerful end game.

And I love the game. A lot. The game nearly died earlier this year, but was fortunately saved and I am very thankful for it. I honestly believe more people should check this game out when they get a chance. And even though I was planning on having this a one-time stream, I got a couple members of the community to peek in, and show how generous the community is. The game has a good draft system that's a bit of a drop-in style, where you're playing against others who've completed their drafts not necessarily in a round-robin style, but just whenever you feel like making and running it. It's a good way for new players to build up their card base, and experience the game, even if it takes a little bit to get the tickets. I also discovered a share system today, thanks to the community, where players can share a copy of a card with someone else. It doesn't transfer ownership of the card, and they can only be shared once, but this way players can pass a few cards off to their friends to both use the unshareable copy. Very nice! A way to be generous and not really hurt yourself in the process.

A very special thank you to both Kaelari and Exileder for making this a more enjoyable stream, and I think it's one I am going to be adding to my rotation, between games. I encourage players to check this game out, help keep good ideas alive. -- Watch live at https://www.twitch.tv/the_nametag
