Serious Sam: The First Encounter (Fusion) playthrough Part 2
1What is it about playing games that I enjoy, only managing to see all kinds of flaws in them and things I truly dislike, while I'm doing this show? Am I taking too critical an eye? In this instance, it could be related to being able to compare it to another game I'm playing offline, and noticing the differences between them. Serious Sam is a hard game. It's meant to beat you down, a meat grinder. And it gets to me at times. The arenas are fun, yes... but a lot of times they feel cheap. That's not a good feeling. Hard, but something you can manage, that's one thing. Cheap, just enemies in the right pattern or combination that are nearly impossible to react to properly, that's a whole other thing.
