I really was hoping for the best and assuming the worst, but this strat actually worked out pretty nicely. I thought of kiting it to the stairs by watching another video, but the run around the house strat was all my idea :)

For those wondering why I'm saying it is limited time, it goes away in Cataclysm and has a 1% drop rate. I have been farming both mounts in Zul'Gurub since TBC prepatch on a death knight and have been unsuccessful this far.
