If this section looks familiar, it's because I reused it almost wholesale for Amy later (it's since been changed, but still has some similar beats). It was originally intended for Sonic and Elise, with part of the gimmick of the level (that the final version does keep) is Elise seeing things Sonic (or maybe the player, if I do it right) can't see, but the other major part of this level, running on water, could not be done here, and ultimately, it changed too little for the stage for them to be kept.
