Sonic 2 Nick Arcade prototype
1Calling off my ROM hack plays for now because most of the Sonic 2 hacks I have on my disk include a bunch of beta stuff, so for further understanding of where the stuff came from in Sonic 2, I'm gonna play some Sonic 2 prototypes. Here's my gameplay of the Nick Arcade prototype, the earliest version of Sonic The Hedgehog 2 to be found and released on the internet. The prototype was named after Nick Arcade, a classic game show on Nickelodeon. The game would appear in two episodes, and its appearance was unusual in that it was this prototype version - it was the first sightings of the prototype by the Sonic community. Here, only Emerald Hill Zone is playable, but other Zones can be played through the level select. I normally don't use the level select or other cheat codes in my videos, but I just didn't want to forget something...
