This forest is so GREEN! MMMM, the graphics is so GOOOD!

So in my LB of SA1 about two and a half years ago, I advertised a series I was gonna do where I'd complete levels in Sonic Adventure while jumping as few times as possible. Well, I've done that. So I've decided that now, of all times, I should keep going with this. Welcome, one and all, to Let's Break Sonic Adventure 2 In A Different Way: A-Button Challenges!... or the SA2 No-Jump Run for short.

So many little floating squares in this place. What kind of a forest has random floating square platforms?
[A green one, Aussy.]
Shut up, Texty. I was gonna make a joke about Sonic Colours' platforming.

Risk an Inch to Gain a Mile:
So... no sharp incline-to-flat stairways like in City Escape. So how do we get the Bounce Attack working in this incredibly platform-heavy stage?

Wait for iiiiiiiit....
TIMING!
If you spindash off a raised platform, Sonic will be in his ball form while descending. So now you can start bouncing... assuming there's solid ground below you. The real trick comes when you're faced with tiny floating platforms hovering over certain death. Manipulation of Sonic's momentum using the Bounce Attack is key here. Give yourself enough room, no distractions, and bound fast enough that you still have room to turn around. From there, get your bearings and begin necessary ascension.
