So in my LB of SA1 about two and a half years ago, I advertised a series I was gonna do where I'd complete levels in Sonic Adventure while jumping as few times as possible. Well, I've done that. So I've decided that now, of all times, I should keep going with this. Welcome, one and all, to Let's Break Sonic Adventure 2 In A Different Way: A-Button Challenges!... or the SA2 No-Jump Run for short.

This song is, like, my childhood right here. Everything about this stage screams beautiful simplicity, and I couldn't be happier. A shame I couldn't express that in the Versus. *shudders*

The Light Attack Rebound:
When you finish a Light Attack in SA2, Sonic and Shadow bounce back up a bit after hitting the last enemy. It's not really useful in normal gameplay, and is probably just used as a moment for players to catch their breath before speeding off again. However, we can use that rebound quite well in an A-Button Challenge.
In this specific case, one thing to watch for is that nothing is in your way on the ledge after the attack finishes. That cart moving back and forth can really screw you over if you don't time it right. As a side note, this whole ledge-grabbing thing is gonna come back into play later on.
