Sonic & Knuckles: Locked-On | 30th Anniversary Mini Review
Review 4/30: Sonic & Knuckles (Sega Genesis/Mega Drive, 1994)
Before the memes, there was the game. It's a pretty good one too.
Sonic & Knuckles is the second half to Sonic 3. If you play them back to back, you'll notice the same physics, nearly the same music and design. That said, put them together and you have maybe the most epic Sonic journey of all time.
You have a 14 level epic that keeps you enthralled from start to finish. 3 playable characters round out your cast with slightly different stories. I prefer the & Knuckles half to Sonic 3, but that's in no way putting the other one down. And like I mentioned, together they're nearly unstoppable.
I'll be doing short videos on 30 Sonic titles for the 30th anniversary of the series. Going for at least a video a week, so be sure to tune in!
Also also, a big shout out to Tee Lopes who lets fans like me use his music for things. You can find his channel here:

Rising Sun Retro is a channel about retro games (of course) and even modern games too. From short video reviews, to retrospectives on older titles. Being based in Japan gives the channel a Japanese focus (hence the name) from a westerners perspective (also the name sounded catchy so I'm rolling with it).
