Before I start the description of this video I want to thank everyone for helping me realize my wish for the year 2020 which was to get my channel out there and get more people to watch my stuff which if you want to know wasn't really the case by the beginning of last year I only had about 120 subscribers back then and now in January 2021 you guys have more than doubled that number with 336 of you actually liking what I do enough to subscribe to my channel thank you everyone.

So now that 2021 has started lets go back to a game I wanted to record but didn't take the time for the final Classic Sonic game: Sonic the Hedgehog CD.

This game takes place between Sonic 1 and 2 (Sonic 2 and 3 if you believe the US manual) Sonic wanting to explore a bit comes to hear the news that the miracle planet known as Little Planet (which appears for one month every year) is making its appearance above Never Lake.
Wanting to see this miracle planet Sonic races across the zones to get to Never Lake but when he gets there Sonic finds that the Little Planet is chained to a mountain shaped like a familiar mustachioed scientist who Sonic knows pretty well after his adventure on South Island so knowing trouble when he knows it Sonic blasts of of the mountain he stands on to get on the chain holding down Little Planet so that the Blue Blur can get up to the miracle planet to see what Eggman was up to.

In this part we go through the first 2 levels being Palmtree Panic: which is your normal Green Hill like level where we are introduced to the games main gimmick this being: Time Travel, by running past either a past or future signpost and maintaining speed for a bit Sonic can travel through time to either get to the future where we see what Eggman is going to do to Little Planet if we fail, or we can travel to the past where by exploring Sonic finds a robot generator which he destroys and by doing this Sonic automatically destroyed every badnik from all time periods making a good future for that act.
We also run into a young girl, Amy Rose, who was waiting on the island because her fortune told her that by going to the miracle planet she would meet her hero, so Amy went to Palmtree Panic to meet Sonic, the hero of South Island.

After running through the rest of Palmtree Panic making sure he destroyed the robot generator Sonic runs into the man responsible for chaining Little Planet to Never Lake dr. Ivo Robotnik.
Eggman was going through and found the Palmtree Panic no longer under his control so the doctor got out his new mech: the EGG-HVC-001, but since Sonic was there this mech was destroyed pretty quick forcing the doctor to retreat.

After following Eggman Sonic gets to the Collision Chaos Zone where our blue blur runs into Amy again who started to follow him, before Sonic could tell her to get of the planet because Eggman is starting trouble on it a blue robot looking a lot like Sonic bursts through a wall and kidnaps Amy.
Now in addition to having to rescue the planet by destroying the robot generators and stopping Eggman's plan, Sonic also has to rescue Amy.

While Sonic goes through the Collision Chaos Zone Sonic misses one robot generator meaning that the place is still under Eggman's control by the time Sonic leaves, but luckily this can be undone by collecting the mystical gems of Little Planet: the Time Stones, these stones have power over all of time meaning that the user of the stones can travel through time at will which in Sonic's case makes every act a good future.
