About the song:
As per usual, the differences here are because of the way I deal with the Master System's capabilities. The biggest difference is at 1:28--1:38, where there was supposed to be static going from a low tone to a high tone, but to do that I would have to get rid of one square wave channel AND not be able to have "drums", so instead I had to get creative and come with an idea to have both, and I thought the low tone of the kick drum could be used as static so that when the kick drums came in it would sound like both are there. That section in turn feels very different from the original to me, coupled with the lesser amount of instruments, it feels very melancholic, and the low tone static sounds like a sort of "blizzard" effect, which I think works well for the setting of a town under attack, where the static could be interpreted as fire.
