Sonic Riders: Heroes Story: Part 3: Egg Factory
12Knuckles was among the racers that were able to continue on through Eggman's EX World Grand Prix pass the Splash Canyon race.
On his way towards the starting line of Eggman's own Egg Factory course, he accidentally bumped into another one of the Babylon Rogues: Storm the Albatross.
This was the exact same bird that got knocked off of his board by Knuckles earlier in Metal City. Storm wanted to pay Knuckles back for that incident, and Knuckles was likewise eager to finish the score.
However, when Knuckles prepared a punch, one of Eggman's racer robots, a E-10000R got caught in it. It was pretty awkward.
Storm made fun of how clumsy Knuckles was and wanted to show him a REAL punch. Luckily, Knuckles dodged the swing...
...and it hit the E-10000R instead for a TKO.
Storm profusely apologized to the poor robot... but then blamed Knuckles for dodging his fist.
When it looked like the two brawlers were ready to rumble for sure, Omochao announced the next race. The two decided to settle things through that, instead.

From this point on in the story, you're not just racing for placements, you're racing to actually WIN, defeat certain characters, and knock them out of the Grand Prix.
For this race, you will use Knuckles in Egg Factory, and you have to win 1st place against Storm (and several other E-10000 robots).
Knuckles and Storm are both Power Type characters. They can use their fists to smash through certain walls, obstacles, and barricades, often allowing them to reach shortcuts that Speed and Fly types can't.
Power Type characters also often have the best Endurance stat among the racers. This means their Extreme Gear are best at resistance against bad surfaces that can slow them down, such as the grass in Metal City.
