Star Light Zone is the 5th zone in the original Sonic game and dare we say it... it seems to run the "best" out of all the zones so far? At least the first act does. Once Draco crosses into act 2 where there are more moving platforms and hazards this stages starts to fall apart. You know the platforms that turn into steps when you stand on them? Yeah, they can CRUSH you if you're standing on a seam when they move down. Crushed... from ABOVE.
Most moving platforms in this zone turn out to be broken as do most of the tight loops, Sonic just doesn't hold the same momentum so even though this is a 1:1 replica of the level the janky physics result in a broken stage. Those seesaws with the little spiked balls on them that spring you upward? Wait until we get to those things because those are super jacked up.
You might recall the boss of this zone requires the use of those seesaws to defeat... but not here. Due to screen crunch you can just jump and hit him. We don't know if this was intentional because of the lack of visibility, or if someone at Sonic Team knew this would be an impossible boss fight otherwise.
