If you thought you saw "slow" in the previous 3 zones... you ain't seen NOTHING yet. Labyrinth Zone, the obligatory water stage, is already a dull point in the original Genesis game, but here? You could do your taxes in the time it takes Draco to make it through this zone. This is the longest video in the playlist, that's all we need to say.
This game is SO SLOW that as Sonic is drowning the music doesn't keep up with the timer. Normally the end of the drowning music is supposed to coincide with "0" appearing on screen following by Sonic dying. But here? "2" has barely appeared on the screen by the time the drowning tune ends. I'm sure if you were mathematically inclined you could use this discrepancy to find out just how much slower this game is compared to the original... but math is hard so we'll leave that for y'all in the comments as an extra credit question.
This zone is plagued with a bunch of very bizarre bugs the most apparent of which are layer priority issues. Everything underwater that's orange is supposed to be green. Everything. But some of the animated hazards and doors and things don't change their colors correctly. Also sometimes the screen/water flashes upon jumping into it? Waterfalls don't animate when their tiles are underwater, and the boss music just doesn't play in the third act when you face Robotnik.
By the way, Sonic seems to bring out the worst in Draco. One of the best "rage moments" in stream history happens during this zone, and you'll agree with him. It's BS.
