The legendary beta of the first Sonic game seems to be finally available.
There are many minor differences in gameplay, for example Sonic needs only 50 rings for an extra life. The only boss available is the Green Hill one.
Labyrinth, Scrap Brain (here named Clock Work) and special stages are only accessible by level selection menu, as well as Spring Yard (Sparkling here) and Starlight second and third acts.
These levels lack almost all objects, even water in Labyrinth, and so they require debug mode to be completed.
