Playing through the first couple stages, I'm pretty impressed with the work put into this.
The recompilation can run at up to 4K 60FPS, the game already looked good on native hardware but it's astonishing how great this game looks at higher resolutions. You can run it at higher FPS, but expect some bugs.
The recompilation also includes stuff like disabling Hints or the Werehog battle theme for the Night Stages in the Options menu which is neat for future playthroughs.
