In the battle with Vulture, you can lower his blue bar fairly quickly, hold the jump button when you land near him and you’ll ride on him, punch him until his blue bar runs out and his red health bar becomes vulnerable for a bit.

When it comes to collecting the Gold Spider icon at the tip-top of the building during the boss fight, battle Vulture for a little bit until the skies clear up and go for it. If you try while the storm clouds are out, you’ll be fried by lightning and die.
