PlayStation Worldwide Studios chairman Shawn Layden has confirmed that there will not be a PlayStation Experience event in 2018. Previous PSX events had some huge announcements, like the Uncharted The Lost Legacy reveal, The Last of Us Part 2 reveal, Final Fantasy 7 Remake Gameplay Trailer & Uncharted 4 Gameplay Reveal. In this video I discuss whether the cancellation of PSX means that the PS5 could be coming sooner than expected, namely in the Fall of 2019, or a later release date in 2020. There are still some huge games coming up like Ghost of Tsushima, Days Gone, The Last of us 2 and Death Stranding, but surely filling up a total of 2 years with only these games will not be enough? Here are my thoughts.
