This game runs "reasonably well" on RPCS3 but can't seem to keep a consistant framerate.
Pretty much grew up with the SoulCalibur series, couldn't believe it when they announced Soulcalibur VI. My first experience with Soulcalibur was Soulcalibur II for GameCube which I loved when I was younger, played every single Soulcalibur game after that with the exception of spin-offs like SoulCalibur Legends and SoulCalibur: Lost Swords. I did have SoulCalibur: Broken Destiny though.
Now, Soulcalibur V...is possibly my least favourite of the series. I was like most fans and did not like the fact that they removed some of the key existing playable characters (where is my favourite girl Taki?) and instead replaced them with bland copies. I would of had no issue with these new characters if they kept the characters they replaced. (Leixia = Xianghua, Natsu = Taki, Pyrrha = Sophita, Xiba = Kilik) Also yes I know Kilik is in the game but still. Besides that the game is a good SoulCalibur game and plays like Soulcalibur IV with a few differences. I don't remember much of the story.
I did also try Soulcalibur IV and strangely enough that game doesn't have COM vs. COM. I have yet to try older Soulcalibur games but it will be interesting to see the result. I have included myself in this video, (in other words, had a go with the character creation) and re-created myself to the best of what the game makes possible.
