This is a long guide to help people out if they're interested in Nightmare and would like an idea on how to approach learning him. This guide is mainly for letting you get your "feet wet" with the character. Feel free to message me if you have any questions pertaining to anything.

*Additional Notes
- Nightmare's throw range generally allows him to out range the throw reaches of most characters meaning that at a range where an opponent's throw may whiff, Nightmare would still be able to reach
- Be careful of people that try to stuff Grim Stride advances with 2A's or 2K's
- Nightmare's low game isn't really good
- So pile on guard gauge damage instead for pressure
- WS~B can lethal hit whiffed throws
- Nightmare's 2A is a horizontal low poke that can hit opponents that are standing guard (I.e. It's not a special low because it's slower than most special low 2A's)

Each number represents the corresponding direction. 1 for "Down-Back", 9 for "Up-Forward", 5 for "Neutral" or no input, etc. Quarter-Circle Back = 214, Quarter-Circle Forward = 236, Half-Circle Back = 63214, Half-Circle Forward = 41236, etc.

For Input commands:

A = Horizontal Attack
B = Vertical Attack
K = Kick
G = Guard Button
6G = Guard Impact
A+G = First Throw
4A+G = Second Throw
6B+G = Resist Impact
B+G = Reversal Edge
A+B+K = Critical Edge
236A+B+K = Soul Attack

Legend:

W! = Wall Splat
W!! = Second Wall Splat
GB! = Guard Burst
CE = Critical Edge
( ) = Held Input
: = Just Frame Input
