Sound it Out! I play Corfe Castle, Isle of Purbeck, England by Thomas Wells
7Sound it Out is a creative experiment where I look at a piece of visual art and come up with a tune on the violin on the spot to describe it.
Today's subject is another winner of the Images 2020 photography award with Shoreline Arts Alliance. Corfe Castle, Isle of Purbeck, England by Thomas Wells won the Ann Christensen Award at Images 2020. The judges describe this image to be a capture of a perfect timing. Any earlier or later, the light from the sun would not have hit the hill in the perfect way.
When I looked at this piece, I felt like this scene represents a new day in the world, and there is a sense of serenity and hope of a beginning of a new day. I think it's a beautiful concept, everyday that begins, you have a new chance to start anew and make it better.
