1I found it did well during drop tests and handles transitions from high to low orbit quite well. Incidentally for those who don't know this or are new to the channel my ships are all at least 90-99% heavy block. The speed boosts you are seeing come from the impulse blocks, an ftl drive, jump drives, and the speed mod that "*only raises the speed limit to 1000m/s." where as the ftl drive boosts up to 50km/s but has a heavy energy cost.
