1Yes I mean Romulan bird of prey, also called a scout, but nevertheless. This match was long and challenging and honestly who would think it could end like that?
I am delighted of course that the old girl managed to be so damn resilient considering the 3 on 1 assault at the beginning. That little Oberth had enough sense to keep a safe distance but wouldn't be denied some low level plinking against (of all things) the Valdore Class (Who for whatever reason didn't just turn and shoot for the 30 seconds it would take to swat that fly.)
Outgunned isn't the word, the only ship with comparable weapons was the Nova and you saw what happened there. Had we not done something drastic to take down the Valdore it would be the only thing left.
Its funny when your biggest moves come from your midsize (on the smaller side) ship with your (sadly) best weapons. I felt a bit silly jumping back to Reliant but she totally deserved her moment.
Had she been able to fly straight that ramming might have even worked... ;)
*Note the torpedos weren't working at all so that happened.
