Space Engineers 2024 Kong Build Pt 3 Final Tweaking Settings & Setting Up Timers
Try to remember to set "Start Timers" in sequence - that is "Start" not "trigger now" and that took me a minute to figure out. Cluster the timers together and name them stop then remember to set one to actually stop all of the timers or you'll be riding the runaway monkey.
This is part 3 and probably the final video as by now you should have a pretty good idea how to make it do what you want. It's a quadrupedal mech but if you were desperate to get it upright you could move the hinge positions and tinker. It can be done - it's literally the same process. (Move the head position, legs up and down under hips. and hang the arms from shoulder area, or you'll feel silly trying to drive it!)
8 legs? Yes you can, just double the hinges and space them carefully to not run into each other. I have one here if you like that kind of thing • Space Engineers 2024 Spider Mech As E...
Something that may help is setting up another gyro inside with the override block clicked on and no further setting change - this may make it harder to turn so you could even set it up to turn off and on with the walking.
If you built it at this scale you have room for AI blocks, they'll work if it's stable enough to not just flip over. You can (If you are like me) add shields, phasers, etc. If you are going for a more stand up and club chest Kong you can incorporate rotors and set that animation up with extra timers etc.
This was just to get you started.
