Around 1 hour 59 minutes to beat. This is the full unedited playthrough, but I didnt include the first 20 minutes since I played through until I had to continue, but since I didnt realise I needed to save, I had to start the game over. This is the type of game where you need to save between stages to keep your progress. Not sure if you can save mid stage and exploit the game that way. I used save states for quicker resetting and re-loading but never to cheat, only restore things the way the game saves, but quicker.
There is atleast 2 other ports of this version of the game, which I plan to complete eventually as well.
For such an easy game it wasnt really worth editing it to show only fresh restarts and remove all the deaths. Maybe for one of the other ports.
