I'm kicking off my DOSember celebration with Space Quest 6: The Spinal Frontier! In Part 1 of my Let's Play series, Roger Wilco is enjoying some much-needed shore leave on the planet Polysorbate LX. As he mingles with the eccentric locals, Roger remains oblivious to the fact that trouble is brewing behind the scenes. Someone out there is plotting his demise, and the mysterious “Project Immortality” may have something to do with it. For now, though, Roger’s just trying not to mess up too badly.

This 1995 point-and-click adventure by Sierra On-Line is packed with clever sci-fi parodies, sharp humor, and the kind of trouble only Roger Wilco can attract. Prepare for a nostalgic journey through one of the funniest titles in the Space Quest series!

If you love classic adventure games or just want to laugh at Roger’s increasingly ridiculous misadventures, you’re in for a good time. Feel free to drop a comment with your thoughts, hit like if you’re enjoying the ride, and subscribe for more episodes. Let’s see where this bizarre journey takes us!

ABOUT ME
I'm Jess (he/him), a lifelong gamer and retro variety streamer from West Virginia. I mostly play adventure games from the '80s and '90s (think King's Quest and Monkey Island), but I also stream newer titles, bad licensed games, and other random stuff that grabs my attention. I stream on Twitch every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday night around 9:30 p.m. Eastern. Drop by and join the fun sometime!
