It's a side scrolling beat 'em up. Possibly this is single player only. The combat system is quite complex which is nice because you can create your own combos so to speak, tailoring to your own personal fighting style or gameplay style. The enemies can be awkward, larger ones can't be attacked straight away head-on and mini bosses seem to have timed scripts where you can only hit them at certain times in their attack pattern sequence. I wish it had co-op and also that they implement rebindable controls.
