It's similar in style to old school Silent Hill or Resident Evil games. There's a lot of settings and the gameplay is fine. Performance needs some optimizing, but maybe you can dial it into where you need it. Save game tapes might be a bit too rare, but you can play at a lower difficulty which autosaves for you.
