Spider Man No Way Home Andrew Garfield Video Explained + No Way Home Trailer 2 TOBEY MAGUIRE Rumor?!
Alright, I’ve waited long enough to talk about the fact that we got an Andrew Garfield leak from the no way home set and we have to talk about the trailer 2 rumor that Tobey and Andrew Garfield will appear in the next trailer of Spider Man No Way Home. Stay with me.
So, the video of Andrew Garfield that leaked has the amazing spiderman character talking to Tobey Maguire. He’s asking his character, “do you have like web blood”, we know of course that Tobey’s webbing comes directly from his wrists, whereas Andrew and Tom need web-shooters, so that’s where that comes from. But, this means that wherever they are, it looks like scaffolding, which according to the blue screen in the background will be up high in what I think is Andrew’s New York in his universe just because I think that Tom Holland’s spider-man will fall into the spider-verse “in order” so to speak, so he’ll go to where it started with Tobey and then go to Andrew’s universe with Tobey and then eventually find his way home- kind of a full circle type thing; so if Tobey and Andrew are talking small talk introductory stuff like how his webs work, then it has to be in Andrew’s universe when they first meet.
Now, Andrew was asked about the set video, and there was a lot of swearing in his response so, the recap is that essentially, he says can deny it, but he doesn’t want to spoil anything and he finished by saying, either way, he is screwed. So, I don’t know about you, but that sounds like total confirmation to me that the set video is real. Even with the fact that Sony is pulling down content on Twitter that depicts the set video, that just further confirms it.
SO, there is a rampant running rumor going around that Tobey Maguire and Andrew will be headlining a money shot in the next trailer for the No Way Home film. Now, that a leak has gone viral, well it would make sense for Sony to buckle down and just show us. Personally, I would have rathered it stay a rumor, and get surprised in the theatre, but the leak has backed Sony into a corner to just include the pair in the next trailer. Which could prompt the reveal of Electro in the trailer too with his new look, and Goblin’s new look too which Electro I’d be happy with literally any look now that I know he isn’t blue, and for goblin, I’m hoping he’s got the comic accurate look with the purple scarf and all.
Now, in the next trailer, we might get a lot more of the villain reveals like Sandman likely being in the film, and the lizard too, with Vulture and Scorpion returning, but there is such a thing as revealing too much about a film. I really do hope that they keep some things under wraps, but we do know that the film will be coming out in December, so expect the next trailer sometime in the next 4-6 weeks. Just because it’s rumored that next week we’ll get the full Hawkeye tv series trailer, and then Eternals is now starting their marketing too for November, I just think that the marvel marketing team has a lot to do in a short amount of time and honestly, No Way Home has enough hype around the film that if they release only one more trailer and a few posters, the movie will still make hundreds of millions, if not billions. Let me know your thoughts on that in the comments.
