What If Marvel Zombies Scarlet Witch Made Thanos A Zombie + Why Zombie Thanos Knows To Be In Wakanda
157Alright, What If episode 5 is here and it’s a real marvel freakshow, but one of the questions I have coming out of the episode in which one of our zombie marvel characters got close enough to Thanos who has an almost complete infinity gauntlet to bite him and infect him? Well, Wanda did it. She bit him. But, with Thanos having the time stone, alot of people will think that it is zombie strange who bit him- so first, let me explain why it’s not zombie strange who infected Thanos.
So, first I want to be clear when Thanos came to Earth, it makes sense in the main continuity that he would’ve gotten at least the reality stone from the collector, the power stone from Xandar, and the soul stone from vormir and the space stone from loki. All of those stories never had avenger interference, let alone the potential for earthly zombie interference, so we’re good.
The reason why I’m talking about this is that a lot of you are thinking since Zombie Thanos has the time stone, then maybe zombie doctor strange infected Thanos. That isn’t the case. See, if Thanos got the soul, power, reality, and power stone, then that would mean that it was to meet at titan with Obsidian and Maw, and the rest of the order. Maw literally says in infinity war that titan was the rendezvous after collecting the stones from the earth. So, when none of the order showed up at titan, Maw said that if that were to happen in infinity war, Thanos would cast judgment over him, meaning the first place Thanos went looking is the place where Maw and Obsidian were dispatched on earth: New York, outside the sanctum. Where he found the remains of Maw and Obsidian and Strange who Thanos knows to be the stone keeper; easy peasy.
So, why is Thanos in Wakanda as a zombie? Well, I’m here to tell you that Wanda made him a zombie. And my explanation starts with how Maw and the order knew where the stones were. The order could detect the stones, possibly similar to how rocket in endgame detected that Thanos used the stones again on his planet to reduce the stones to ashes. And if Rocket can track that surge, and if Thanos and the order can track the stones in infinity war when the stones were dormant then who’s to say that thanos can’t track vision’s mind stone when he ripped it out of himself? Now, I know that going with this theory means that zombie Thanos in Wakanda is like a week later after the events at the hangar and that’s exactly my theory. Thanos wielding the gauntlet as a zombie in Wakanda is a scene that takes place only after the scene at camp Lehigh, literally right after spiderman and tchalla and lang escape with the mind stone, thanos space stone teleports himself there to find the mind stone, and instead he finds a defeated hulk and an angry zombie wanda, who we know from endgame to literally be able to subdue thanos and leave him vulnerable.
I mean, if Thanos in infinity war knew exactly where vision is in Wakanda and space stone teleported himself there, then would it be far-fetched to say that he knows where the stones are, especially after such a massive surge or removing the stone from vision’s head.
So, when Zombie Thanos is in Wakanda, I believe that means Thanos is only following the mind stone from there and teleports himself into Wakanda ahead of TChalla and spiderman and lang, where he can bring his new army of zombies from the camp and wanda, and bring them to wakanda to infect everything.
