Not the most polished experience but definitely worth every penny.

This is a great demo of what a Spiderman VR game could be. If the mechanics in Spiderman Far From Home VR received a bit of polish and were dropped into a fully length Spiderman story I would absolutely drop $40-50 on it.

The web slinging is smooth with no discomfort. Running however could be awkward. I'd much rather have had the sticks behave like a normal VR title with smooth locomotion rather than the grip to run forward thing we got.

The combat could use quite a bit of rethinking especially the part where your web shooters stop working. That was just frustrating. I would want a valid health system and some sort of spider sense mechanic.

The story mode itself is very short. Complete in 5 minutes kinda short. However there is a free roam mode with battle and race style mini games peppered around the city as well as collectables to find.

It's there in the free roam where most of the magic of just being Spiderman happens. The graphics aren't amazing. The content isn't amazing. Being Spiderman is absolutely amazing.

There's also no quit button... but ya know, you get what you pay for...

There's plenty of room to grow if this were to become a proper VR game. This is a great start though. Spiderman Far From Home VR is definitely worth downloading and giving a sling or two through the city.
