This game is an MMO where you may play for free, but will progress much slower that someone that does pay.

The game has three tiers, each tier 8 levels with an intermission at the 4th where you heal and may buy special recipes selected at random. On the 8th level is a town, another intermission, with more vendors.

The main currency is "energy" which you use to enter a level, and sometimes to access special events within one. I enter all the "danger room" events because they are cheap and provide a lot of loot inside. There are other events like the mecha knight powering up (a buddy for the level, not worth it I think) or the prize rooms (not worth it again) that have a chance to have easy loot, but a chance of having crap inside, if it always had at least 1 spark (those badge things) then it would be better.

Anyway the video is long, it is not a speedrun because in order to recover the energy cost of entering a level I have to kill every monster and get every possible loot in there. I am also killing things easily here since its the first tier and I am at max damage because I have equipment made for the second tier (their damage is lowered but still I am on the upper range). You can see if the game looks interesting and see how I tackle the enemies, which get much harder on the later tiers.

The boss of the first tier, the Snarbolax is present on the gates that have the beast family (three claw marks) on the second icon from top to bottom. This boss is fun although easy once you know how to deal with it.

You can play with up to 3 friends, the more players the more resistant the enemies become. The loot and number of enemies remain the same however. So for solo:
+ You keep all the materials (the items that fall)
+ You keep all health upgrades and vials.
+ Less health on enemies.
- All the enemies will target you
- You get less minerals (only one person carries them, you)

vs party:
+ You get more minerals (four people carry them)
+ You can split the aggro.
+ More vials being carried at the same time (4 people with 12 vials each)
- Monsters take a lot of punishment.
- You have to fight for the health upgrades and vials.
- The materials are split randomly.

Money is shared and isn't divided, if you pick one crown, everyone gets one crown, same for minerals same for hearts (although everyone must pick their heart themselves). Not materials, so by having a party you lose on them.

Overall I prefer solo, except for the mineral part, one achievement is about collecting 10,000 of them, and it's significantly easier to reach that huge number in a party than solo.
