If you watch this video because you are yet to beat Vanaduke, or even try to do a FSC run, then watch carefully because you'll see several tricks to make your life easier. Not all tricks are present because it depends on your gear, your party's gear, your party skill levels, etc.

You can see how good teamwork can make a clean run with practically zero chaos. We had two shivermist users, Zhee and me, from the beginning Zhee showed he wanted to take on the role of freezing. So instead of fighting for the role I found something else to do. Nivlam had Blitz Needle, you will hear a lot of Argent Peacemaker, but if some guy has Blitz Needle and another Shivermist, and both are competent that's all you need. In fact one guy with Argent Peacemaker would screw up the team if he decided to go and do dps.

Vanaduke will pick one of the players and follow him everywhere on the map and use his mace on him whenever he is in range (and in front of him), the mace does damage, but it also triggers the roof to fall and do more damage, this is followed by fire popping up on the ground which does even more damage. The player that has aggro, if he makes sure never to trigger the mace attack, can keep chaos to a minimum for his team. With freezing he can do this just by making sure not to attack until he is on the back of vanaduke, because the mist will slow his turning rate a lot. Argent Peacemaker guys, having a lot of bullets on their clip, keep shooting like madmen which in the end equals to vanaduke practically never being frozen at all, which turn out on mace attacks and finally chaos when the roof falls on the freezer or something to that effect. With Blitz Needle, you just charge while you position yourself, and unleash the charge, as safe as it gets, because vanaduke is only unfrozen for a little while.

My gun was pulsar, so I decided I didn't want to help damage the boss, the damage bonus was little compared to multiple needle charges, and my gun has a lot of knockback, with some bad luck I would have pushed vanaduke out of the mist and created chaos for my team. The other player had cryotech alchemer, a gun that freezes a good percentage of the time, that's great and enabled him to help on the dps role, as quite a few of his shots were just going to refreeze the enemy, meaning free damage, the gun doesn't have a large clip either so for the shots that didn't refreeze it was still not going to keep vanaduke unfrozen for too long. With just two guys breaking the ice for short periods of time practically no mace attacks were triggered.

Driggan and me made it our primary roles to defeat the minions that vanaduke spawned. On the final stage vanaduke spawns charging minions, he didn't this time, but had he done so and since I was the shivermist holder number two it would have been my job to get their aggro on me, take them to the north of the level where there's some perfect spot for keeping them frozen without disturbing the team, sadly I didn't get to show this because vanaduke never spawned them before being defeated. I just threw water balls to extinguish the flames around vanaduke, this makes it easier for the freezer because he has to stay very close to the flames if they are left to burn, if vanaduke scaped the mist his charge attack would have less flames around him to trap players in, and helps the dps players because the flames block most bullets from guns. So instead of me trying to shoot the boss too and possibly causing chaos, I just decided to multiply the number of shots landed by my team, extra dps and defense without chaos.
