Splatoon 2: Forward disruption in League Splat Zones [15(2)-5, Sploosh-o-matic]
Not even Ink Armour helps the Heavy Splatling when I'm on an unimpeded charge. The Splat Zones themselves seem difficult to capture, for some reason. Maybe there is something perpetually happening on the other side of the central plinth. Getting on top lets me spot the Heavy Splatling return, and hopping up again lets me drop down to splat a green inkling trying to get some height. I am caught by the Splattershot Jr in the process, but the Splat Zones have turned purple, so it's not all bad.
I do some tidying up on my way back, and catch an inkling trying to squid up the plinth. I think about getting behind the green team, pausing to try to catch an inkling when they land after launching a B-bomb, getting myself in a spot of bother in the process. I get clear and head around the back, running in to one inkling, then the Heavy Splatling with a Sting Ray in progress. I hang around to cause a bit of disruption, getting naturally overwhelmed with ink pretty quickly.
We're close to winning when a B-bomb neutralises the Splat Zones. Despite my splatting the Heavy Splatling, arguably somewhat out of position, I have trouble against the Splattershot Jr again, and the Splat Zones turn green. I head right around the back on my return, having lots of time to play with, and although I find no one, inking the turf will slow down the green team a bit. I hop over the wall, running in to a splat, and help ink the Splat Zones to turn them purple once more. We have a hefty buffer to run down, though.
I tidy up around the edges before trying my luck around the back another time. I almost run in to another splat, but the Dualies start dodge-rolling here and there, which doesn't help my short-ranged Sploosh-o-matic. The Splat Zones turn green as I return, clearing up some mess left by an inkling causing their own disruption on us. I make a curious choice to chase the Sting Ray, instead of inking the Splat Zones, and unsurprisingly they are nowhere to be seen when I finally get around the back. I splat the Dualies, though, so that's okay.
I ink the Splat Zones to help recapture them, then wander around the back to run headlong in to the Aerospray rather recklessly. At least my inking slowed them down a bit, I suppose. I boldly push towards an expanding B-bomb on my return, to ink over the mess it's doing to the Splat Zones, and catch the Splattershot Jr just before their Ink Armour can protect them. My Splooshdown is avoided by the Dualies, although I am saved some embarrassment by a squidmate. I give chase to the Heavy Splatling next, but before I can get close, everything stops. We appear to have won. Woomy!
