By the end of 2019, I managed to become an S-Rank player in every Ranked Battle mode of Splatoon 2. However, there's one rank that's even higher than that: X-Rank. It's an absurdly difficult rank to reach, so I can't make any promises that I'll reach the rank in any Splatoon 2 mode... but I figured I could try, right?

It's been a few months since I've voyaged into Splatoon 2's Ranked Battle modes on my own! In fact, I haven't played on my own at all this year... until now! I figured that I'd try a few rounds of S-Rank Tower Control matches in an attempt to earn enough points to achieve an X-Rank! Of course, the odds of me reaching an X-Rank are unlikely, but I figure that if I were to try to achieve such a rank in any mode, I should attempt to do so in my favorite mode: Tower Control! It may also just be my best mode... but even then, I don't quite think I'm worthy of an X-Rank. But let's see how I do, and let's see what the game thinks!
