An Explosher puts me on Flyfish duty, and the salmonids don't want me to shirk, giving me two Flyfish back-to-back. I hit most of my shots too, so that, along with reviving a particularly clumsy squidmate a couple of times, makes me happy with my first-wave performance already. It's good that it does, because my shot at the Steelhead goes sailing over it. Some Steel Eels give us some easy-ish eggs, and with quota achieved we just need to stay unsplatted. With that in mind, I head for the Stinger, my Explosher able to take care of it quickly, but with a Scrapper in tow, who gets a bit too close. I'm revived quickly, which is nice, and from there I just make sure we don't get too much rain, whilst popping more eggs in the basket.

On to the second wave, and my squidmates still aren't on top of the tide indicators. They come down soon enough, and we start splatting bosses. The Scrapper kinda gets in the way, and I end up skirting the green goop a little carelessly to grab some eggs being collected, but it works out. A Flyfish causes no bother, but I still clearly need more practice with dodge rolling, as I shoot a Drizzler in the standard stance like a mug. I keep that level of inefficiency up right until the end of the wave. I really should whip out the Dualies to learn how to dodge roll.

The tides change on the third wave, which means inking the walls finally, and without much help from my squidmates and a Squiffer in my mitts makes for time-consuming work. But it gets done and I move on to splatting soon enough. I don't even mind taking on a Stinger with the Squiffer, as with the right timing it can be splatted pretty quickly, if not as quickly as the other weapons would manage. We get a nice haul of early eggs, but then collections stall, and I'm not quite sure why. I pause to try to revive a squidmate, but not to the detriment to splatting a Flyfish, and hold the lift to not leave another squidmate behind, but it is quite some time before more eggs hit the basket.

With thirty seconds left, it looks like we'll hit quota, but splatting a Stinger goes awry when a Steel Eel stops me grabbing an egg, and I only have the opportunity to splat one Flyfish bucket before heading back to the basket. Where is everyone else, though? One inkling is splatted, my aim not hitting them so I use a Splashdown to coincide with splatting two Steelheads and a nearby Drizzler. This is better, if not for two more squidmates being splatted and a couple of Scrappers stopping eggs getting to the basket. I try another Splashdown, knowing that the Scrappers are facing the wrong way, and desperately scrabble to splat one to get the final egg we need. I think we're going to make it, but I am a step away from delivering the egg when Mr Grizz decides he's waited long enough. So close.
