I also unlock Chat Session #9, here. In that session, Pearl and Cap'n Cuttlefish are working on some more rap lyrics, since Cuttlefish now wants to be a rapper. Marina shows everyone one of Pearl's original rap lyrics from before she met her, and were pretty impressed with how good her rapping was even back then.

But then Marina posted a file of a different song Pearl worked on. Instead of rap, it was HARDCORE DEATH METAL! The name of the song? "#$@%* Dudes Be #$@%* Sleepin". Three guesses as to what "#$@%*" actually means, because Marina remembers how radio stations refused to play that... colorful song that Pearl made.

But then after that, Pearl and Marina formed Off The Hook and recorded Ebb & Flow. This is when Pearl really started to get some fans in Inkopolis, and this also allowed them to start their news gig at Inkopolis Square.

In fact, around the time Callie and Marie, the Squid Sisters, and Cuttlefish's two granddaughters, decided to move on from their own music career (or moreover, when they went their separate ways to start their own solo careers before Octavio kidnapped Callie and Marie recruited Agent 4 to find her), this was when Off the Hook became one of the most popular bands in all of Inkling life.

But neither Off The Hook, nor the Squid Sisters, had no ill will towards each other. In fact, both groups loved each others' music, and Pearl even posts of a picture of all four of them hanging out together!

The Callie and Marie's solo careers got so big that they couldn't run the news anymore. Pearl and Marina were worried that this could happen to them, too. They were thinking about being featured in a sport commercial...
