Years back, I made a video talking about Damage Up vs Defense Up, when people thought their very existence caused problems for the game's balance. Then, I argued that they were fine because they exist to counter one another. Now, here we are in Splatoon 2 and they added Main Power Up, an ability designed to improve the main weapon, but with a good few of the weapons, it acts as Damage Up once again. Today I talk about Main Power Up, and it's problematic affect on certain weapons.
