Just a bit of probing to start with, and I still look like I'm not really sure of the range of my most-used weapon. Never mind that, I know I have to get closer, and spot an opportunity to splat my pinkling counterpart. Nice! I head back and get a bit confused about who is where, and where I am shooting, but I get on the Tower for a moment, before needing to do something about the Tri-stringer. I almost do, hitting the Range Blaster instead, retreating as a Killer Wail comes my way. The Tower is pink too, but I don't seem to be able to clear it, and then pinklings are all around. I probably shouldn't have moved in to them. Even so, I hit the Ranged Blaster a third time as they hit me for the first.

My Suction Bomb is engulfed by the B-bomb, which is a shame, but my blasting is on point, clearing the Tower. The threat is not clear, though, so I keep pinging away, changing my angle too, and moving up to reclaim turf. I spot one pinkling going behind a column, it's the Range Blaster, who must be sick of me already, but maybe they get something out of my getting hit by a B-bomb. The culprit is the Glooga Dualies, who clearly moves up to our rotating platform and sticks to the wall. I'm not falling for that, and hit them with a nice blast to flush them out for the splat.

My squidmates splat the rest, the Wipeout giving us a chance to push the Tower. I jump the gap and apply forward pressure, using a couple of Suction Bombs and blasting the edges. My squidmates ride the Tower, getting us the lead, as I splat the Splattershot Pro and Range Blaster, turning around to catch the Glooga Dualies threatening the Tower from behind. The others are returning from ahead, and my blasting is working well, getting another pair, before clambering back up and finding the Range Blaster once more. I ride the Tower, extending our lead, just about, before the Glooga Dualies splat me back to base.

I risk a super-jump, the momentum going our way, and land safely as my squidmates bring about another Wipeout. The area is getting cramped the closer we get to the goal, and my focus is mixed, not quite sure what to concentrate on, and that gets me splatted. My squidmates nearly hit the goal anyway, but only nearly, and the pinklings ride the Tower back our way. I wait for the right opportunity, and think I find it when the Tri-stringer is nice and visible, but my blasts are just off target, and the Glooga Dualies rolls down to splat me just before the Killer Wail would have done it anyway.

I am much more defensive than my squidmates. They ride the Tower, I am wary of the pink turf everywhere. Still, I bide my time, and although the Tri-stringer looks to be aware of me, I finally get my splat on them. Nice! The Tower, however, is heading in to our turf, and I am the only inkling on the team unsplatted. I could maybe have done better, if not for the dodge-rolling Glooga Dualies. At least we have a strong lead that will take a lot to better. We can't take anything for granted though, as I find out when I throw myself directly at the pinklings, and my next outing is more measured. Or maybe my squidmates clear the path first. Either way, the Tower is secured, and the victory is ours. Woomy!
