Splatoon 3: Enjoying the weapon variety in All-Grizzco Salmon Run [50-36-44, 51/1086]
All-Grizzco weapons in Salmon Run is always a blast! The first wave gives me the charger and sends us to low tide. At least, it does when I wake up. It's only a tornado though, which is pretty straightforward normally, and now we have weapons that can chew through the Chum. I take it upon myself to deliver the eggs, my squidmates throwing them up, and it's good to see that the second cache is opened quickly. I drop down to help out, getting more eggs moving more quickly, to make the best use of our ink tanks, and we end up with a decent total.
The second wave has the the tide come in and a Stringer in my hands. I'm happy with that, it's a versatile weapon. Straight up an Fish Finger and splatting the trumpeting Smallfry, no problem. A Stinger? One well-timed vertical shot and it's splatted. Running out of ink is a problem, though, but that's true for most of the Grizzco weapons. Things are looking tricky when I'm revived, so I head out to the Stinger to relieve some pressure, pausing to splat a Flyfish bin on the way, and find myself far from anyone and the only inkling standing. That's no reason to panic, though, and I stroll back, throw a Splat Bomb towards the rubber rings, and launch a Wave Breaker to help the general situation. It does the trick. I finish the wave by splatting one more Stinger. It's a nice feeling.
Back to low tide for the third wave, with a bucket this time. Another powerful weapon, and quite different to use. I like my squidmate throwing a Splat Bomb in the Flyfish bin as I approach, and just hit the Smallfry between the eyes. Lids are no big deal either. I waste a bit of time going for one egg, but never mind that, I deal with the Fish Finger from the ground, no problem. The Stingers are splatted too, one with a B-bomb, another with my bucket. Nearly. I need to throw a Splat Bomb to finish the job. Another Fish Finger isn't splatted as cleanly, but nets three eggs when it finally stops spouting ink, and back on the ground a Drizzler and Flipper give us a final boost, for a job well done. Woomy!
