That Explosher is going to pose problems for us, with its ink coverage and range. Particularly versus my little splatling. I start by trying to secure the high ground, which almost works, and hit the Explosher from above. That goes awry when I'm targeted by a Killer Wail, but I luckily survive thanks to a committed squidmate. I get back to the perch, thrown down a Bubbler to protect from rain, and get a hit on the Explosher. They feel it too and back off, and there's not much I can do but toss Toxic Mist their way and hope it slows them down. They probably just move, of course, and aiming for another inkling, they hit me in the back to slow me down for the Trizooka.

The purple team have the high ground now. We have something almost as high, and from there I see a different way to get to the perch than just squid up the wall. I give it a go, and I take back the perch. That was easy. The Dualies look to knock me off, though, and they kinda do, but I stay safe, if only because no one knows where I am. I poke my nose out, nearly get splatted, and run away. It's a good running away, because I approach the Explosher from a direction they're not expecting. They even jump in to my shots. That was nice of them.

I try to recapture the Splat Zones, which involves getting splats, but I just run out of charge at the wrong moment, and the Dapple Dualies pull out a Dolphin to survive. My Bubbler wasn't ready, even if I had the reactions to use it. I return to be immediately targeted by the Explosher. I think they've caught on to our little rivalry. They can have some Toxic Mist, and then I slink around the side and take the grating to somehow surprise not only a Trizooka but the Explosher themselves. That's pretty satisfying.

I am saved by a squidmate, which is nice, before going on a goose chase. That brings me near where the Explosher might be, but isn't, and where the Clash is. I run away again, get in to a Bubbler, and still am not quite safe. So it goes. My squimdates capture the Splat Zones in my absence, and the Explosher picks me out again on my return, but is splatted before I can pull the same trick as before. Indeed, my squidmates wipe the purple team out, giving me time to get on to the perch, and even think about crossing the grating completely. Why not?

The Clash Blaster tests their range against mine, silly billy, another inkling falls underneath me, and I turn to see the Explosher nicely splatted. We take the lead just as a second Wipeout is announced. Nice! I go further forwards still, happy to have a Bubbler to bolster my confidence, and get another splat as a target, instead of the purple team going for the Splat Zones. That may have been a better idea, as we win the knockout victory seconds later. Woomy!
