I lay down some foundation ink whilst my squidmates work on the Splat Zones, happily capturing them, and push forwards in to green turf to press our advantage. I flick and flick and flick again, not quite getting the splat I'm after, until I get two at once, at the expense of my own splatting. That seems worth it. I return to solid pink Splat Zones and Tenta Missiles flying my way. I pull the missiles away from the main track, and clamber back in to the Splat Zones, where I rather make a mess of things. Sitting still with a Point Sensor on me is not sensible, and the Bloblobber sense ink, lobbing their blobs my way until I am splatted.

I lack inked turf to work in again, so I try to make some, before diving off the ledge towards the Splat Zones that are turning pink again. I bide my time, work the angles, and manage to squeeze in to opposition turf unharmed, and start splatting. I manage to fluke my way in to three splats, helping my squidmates recapture the Splat Zones, then hide, hoping to catch some inklings coming back. I don't, and end up running towards the Bloblobber, which is not a good idea. I return down the side again, and a Burst Bomb meant simply to scare gets a splat. Nice!

I tidy up the Splat Zones a bit, stop an Inkstrike from doing too much damage, then move to catch an inkling down the side. That doesn't quite work, though. My squidmates don't fare much better, and we're wiped out, me being the first to return. I hide a little, but getting a lucky splat near the edge of the Splat Zones spurs me in to leaping forwards looking for more luck. I don't get it, but I do get a Trizooka, so pull that out and take some potshots, finding nothing, but pulling the .52 Gal towards me for a mutual splatting.

I head down the side and try to be sneaky, which goes awry when a Point Sensor hits me, but I catch the Flingza Roller when retreating, so it's not all bad. A friendly Inkstrike flies in, giving me some cover to rush forwards, where I'm not expected. I get one splat, but can't see any other inklings until I turn around. There I find an undefended super-jumper, the poor Flingza Roller succumbing to the superior Roller a second time, and the .52 Gal not turning quickly enough. That lets me ink the Splat Zones, and in looking for splats to keep them pink has my foolishly jump the gap to splat the Bloblobber who is predictably lobbing blobs over the same gap. So it goes.

I scoot back down the side, to minimal effect as I only ink the Splat Zones anyway, before realising that there is an opposite wall, that could provide access to the green side. But the other team would notice, right? Maybe not the Bloblobber, who I get a lucky splat on as I surge over the wall, and the .52 Gal is unlucky in landing from a super-jump next to them. Even so, as good as that feels, the Splat Zones are green. I turn around and try to rectify that a little, pushing past to look for splats, and getting lucky and help from my squidmates we send the green team packing again and have the Splat Zones pink.

Now I patrol the Splat Zones, not wanting to sacrifice them by pushing too far. But in trying to keep the sides safe, I end up staying inside a Killer Wail a bit too long. Thankfully, the integrity of the Splat Zones is not compromised, and my squidmates secure a Wipeout to pretty much let us coast to the knockout victory. I even have time to pose. Woomy!
