August 23rd, 2015 is the last day of the Testfire, so here's a couple more videos for it. As I only used the Splattershot Jr. and the Splat Roller, I tried out the Splattershot (its father, I guess) and the Splat Charger. Both of them have the special weapon called Bomb Rush, which grants unlimited use of your sub-weapon until that meter on the upper-right runs out. So far, they've only been paired up with bombs as sub-weapons, though it would be interesting to see Bomb Rush paired up with stuff like Splash Walls and Squid Beakons. But I'm getting ahead of myself there.

Match #1
Walleye Warehouse
For this first half, I was using the Splattershot. The bombs seem to be...water balloon things? I don't know how they work or what makes them different from the tetrahedron-shaped bombs though. Not that I'm any good with figuring out how to use them, as they're so ink-intensive. Is it me, or does the Splattershot run out faster than its son? Also, should I be allowed to carry teams like this? I mean, this Testfire's the only time I've played this game.

Match #2
Saltspray Rig
By now, you probably figured my favorite path to go around Saltspray Rig, though I realized the tops of walls count as ground too. Apparently, that Diego did not like my use of Bomb Rush from atop that wall. Say, what happened at the end there, with the map? It feels like, besides either Hershey or Sean making lines of blue ink on the northernmost section, I was the only one who had any ink remaining on my team. The orange team even had Gabe disconnect about halfway through! How were they able to cover their ink so efficiently?

Match #3
Walleye Warehouse
And now, I switched over to the fourth weapon available in the Testfire, the Splat Charger. From what I get, this seems to be best used as backup, to pick off opponents and keep their progress down while your teammates forge on ahead. Though it can cover ground not too shabbily too. Perhaps I should not have been so dedicated to getting up to the central stack of crates... Then there's Zack doing what I believe is called "spawn-camping," which is holding everyone who respawns back near where they are, allowing their teammates to ink around undisturbed. He was weirdly successful at holding the entire chartreuse team where they were.

Match #4
Walleye Warehouse
I wanted a Saltspray Rig match, but it was not to be--it's all Walleye Warehouse from 4:25 PM and onwards. I got my revenge on Dhruv about halfway through. There was weird lag afterwards though, and I couldn't aim. Nevertheless, I think we pulled through thanks to nobody on the opposing team being able to pick me off of my favorite spot, even as Brad idled. And you can see he's just standing there at the respawn point. But Brad did eventually help out though!

As it was now past 5 PM, I got a Wii U error message talking about server maintenance. I thought we'd get a "Thank you for playing the Testfire, now go out and get the real thing!" message or something, but it was uncharacteristically plain.

Like with the August 21st video, I'll accompany this with a "Leftover Squid" video too, showing all the matches I removed. It being the last bit of Splatoon that'll be on this channel and all. Probably.
