New collab! I asked Nick (ForsakenPanda) near the beginning of this year if he wanted to collab, and as you can see, he said yes. We decided on the idea to do the theme from Splatoon really quickly, and I think it was a good choice! This collab had a lot of nice things that I really liked. I’m really satisfied with some of the new lead parts Nick and I added into the song, and I’m especially happy with the solo sections! Nick’s solo (at the beginning of the solo section, 2:58) was really great and melodic, he’s so good at solos omg. Nick had written a duet section (3:20) where we both played the same solo in harmony, which I thought was awesome! And then my solo, that came after (3:42) was written mostly by the spectacular Hells6Bells! I did change the solo a tad by switching some notes around at the end and adding a harmony, but it was mostly him. Also, this is my first time in a while where I used the bridge pickup. It really made it sound more twangy, I'm not sure I prefer it over the next pickup tho xD. I hope you guys enjoyed this collab as much as I did making it. Unfortunately, because I’m on a trip right now, Wi-Fi is very hard to come by, so please forgive me if I take a lot of time to reply to your comments.
